Hathaway is one of the few who can take a hit like that. Wow.

Yup, I feel like a lot of what we saw from him last year is turned down this year.

Problem is who else can play 6/7th minutes? Jokipakka was definitely overrated around here early on but I still think he's a great option for his role.

He's always a step (or four) slow.

For me, he's a #7

I would play Kulak and Wotherspoon regularly, to see if either can take that next step.

It is still a rebuilding team afterall

6 more years of Lucic at $6 million is just great.

Yeas, he's slow. He just made two really good defensive plays though.

Kulak and especially Wotherspoon are worse options.

The problem with gaudreau on Bennett's line is his inability to win a draw. I get that they haven't been working well together but, with Monahan's faceoff skill the potential for zone time is greater for him paired with Monahan.

Lucic made his one skate down the ice lost the puck stood there briefly shocked that he lost the puck like that never usually happens then slowly skated to the bench - worth every penny
