With the Oilers game coming up, I think we see Bollig called up. He's actually been playing well in Stockton.

Would like to see Bollig beat Kassian down.

If Ferly is out for an extended period, I'd like to see Pribyl given a game or two to see what he can bring. Gives us a right hand shot and you can stick him on the wing.

Poirier was healthy scratched recently. He did respond with a good game afterwards, but I'd sooner they bring up Klimchuk since he's had a solid year from the start.

This team could use an infusion of offense and it would be nice to see Klimchuk get a shot. Not sure what's happened to Poirier after his AHL rookie season it's been all down hill.

I am assuming no news on Ferland yet and people are just jumping the gun?

Also, they were already rotating Bouma Hathaway and Hamilton. So if he does in fact miss some time, I would imagine they just dress all of them. And as mentioned, Brouwer's return is imminent.

Interesting... Klimchuk and Philly's Sam Morin are the only 2013 first-rounders to not play a game in the NHL yet.

Hopefully Ferland isn't too banged up and returns strong when he does. Has looked lost recently with one lone goal and point since the calender turned to December.

Not expecting his sizzling hot play from the start of the season to continue but those long droughts are frustrating.

Ohh god no, please take this statement and throw it in the trash. Bollig is an awful fighter, his place is in the AHL. He should never get on this team again.

Article on January 11th, stated Brouwer could be ready within the next week (assume that means week of January 16th)

If Ferland is injured, their options are to dress Hamilton or to call up a player.

As they have games on Friday & Saturday.

It looks like Brouwer could play as early as tomorrow:

With Brouwer’s imminent return, looks like #Flames are reuniting Monahan with Brouwer and Versteeg. Gaudreau with Bennett and Chiasson.

#Flames lines at practice:
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Gaudreau-Bennett-Chiasson
Versteeg-Monahan-Brouwer
Bouma-Stajan-Hathaway

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames coach Glen Gulutzan characterized today as 'maintenance' for LW Micheal Ferland (lower-body). Hopeful he can skate tomorrow morning.

Klimchuk: 7 of his 11 goals are against one team. Still not consistent. Was great first 2 weeks then flatlined again. That will be his career in the minors. That is my observation, albeit from afar.
