If he doesn't hold the line...Gio is still the only guy that should be covering Bodeker.

The fact that Tkachuk is on pace to get close to Gaudreaus rookie season at 18 is actually incredible. What a pick. Kid has surpassed all expectations I had for him

Tkachuk tipped the last goal I believe with the way he celebrated. When you tip a goal, you know it and he was definitely celebrating like it was his goal. But being as professional as he is, you know he won't say anything.

What can you say about the Backlund line that hasn't been said almost every game this season? Such a treat to watch them.

Imagine if Monahan got his chit together and provided some secondary scoring.

Johnson sure did make some solid stops tonight. Clutch goaltending right there.

At least he held him to one side forcing a shot, but yeah. It reminds me of an Edmonton Eskimo game years ago when the only play for the other team on the final play was a long bomb, which they should have been waiting for. And it happened, and the guy was wide open.

Unfortunately, it won't happen and the game will continue to suffer for it.
Agree 100%. It's not just the Flames, and it's not just people griping over calls because they are homer fans. The reffing has been utter garbage for every team. So many soft calls around the league, then their are games when nothing is called. No consistency nothing. Teams don't know how they are going to call games.

Flames 4 points out of first despite the terrible start...get a top line RW and a #4 D and they are a dominant team IMO

If it had been McDoofus that had been boarded by Dillon he probably would have got 5 and a game!!

Don't tell that to Oilers fans. They think he gets zero calls

Exactly. They also have their favourites which is ridiculous, just cut a loud fart by McDavid and find out. It is nonsense.

Didn't get a chance to watch tonight. Anyone have a gif/video of Johnny's "stolen" goal?

They have a top line RW, his name is Frolik. The Backlund line is unquestionably the first line now. What they need, is a second line winger.

If 13 was playing with good RW they would give the Frolik line a run for their money...he sets guys up left and right
