Flowers for Charlie was one of my favorites of the entire series.

Agreed, that one's an all-timer. Dennis is awesome that episode too. "She's trailer trash through & through, and far beneath a gentleman such as myself...excuse me, miss? 6 more beers please"

Well, that was an interesting season premiere.
I liked the Bakula cameo.

Just watched it, not that great. But that is probably because I really dont like musicals. And I was disappointed that they didn't reference the best clip from Quantum Leap.

I had never watched this show but decided to binge watch the series a couple of months ago. It's great! I thought the new episode was pretty good.

It would have been so easy for them to go back to the well with black face, but the whole episode was a significant departure from their standard type script.
It felt really fresh for a season debut so far into a series.

When you just turned black
and you can't switch back
well you gotta go and find out the rules
Lost it at that part.

The episode was definitely fresh, but it was far from my favourite episodes. I like to see them switch up the formula and try new things out, and this episode had its moments.
Charlie describing his life while in the body of a black kid was perfect. I always love when Z makes an appearance too. I'd give the episode like a 6 or 7 out of 10

Bacula's solo alone made the episode a top tenner for me. The Quantum Leap references were priceless.

That's a top all time episode for this show.
I was howling with laughter through most of it.

I knew I recognized the lifeguards, but it wasn't until the credits where I figured out who they were.
It was David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, AKA the showrunners of Game of Thrones, who also wrote the "Flowers for Charlie" episode from season 9.

Great episode.
Mac and the drain reminded me of the Chuck Palahniuk story, Guts.

caught up on both, I thought the first episode was incredible
charlie in the interrogation and "these are my friends they have me this train" were so good
the 2nd episode was back to classic Sunny and everything about it was perfect, right down to thinking a single water bottle would lube up a whole slide
