This game is like the hockey equivalent of stubbing your toe on something really, really stupid. Like a can of lentils that fell off your fridge and in front of your foot, or an obese cat. Painful, annoying and you feel silly that you managed to do it.

Uh the Granlund goal on the PP was wide open in the slot with all the time needed to pick a corner. That scores on anybody.
The Eriksson goal was an impossible double bounce to stop.
Could Elliot have played a perfect game and stopped more shots? Sure but he was far from poor. He bailed out his teammates his share of times.
