I'm encouraged by our attitude. They've kept going at Vancouver all night even though it is now a lost cause.

Elliot finds a way to make every single save look like an adventure. Five in a row or not I haven't been impressed with him. Heck, last game against the brutal Colorado Avalnche he manages to steal his own shut out by giving up a garbage goal with a minute left. Albeit super sniper Patrick Wiercioch was the one the score.

Johnson has longer rope because he can save more than 8/13 shots. Elliott is hugely disappointing this year. I feel it was the team who won him his last few starts, not the other way around.

Mono's been pretty invisible and every decision Johnny has made tonight has been poor, they aren't playing well.

Those two, and maybe Tkatchuk have been the best players for the Flames.

I think Johnny has been good as well, minus the bad giveaway.

Which goal was a softie?
Please explain why it was soft.

I'm not a Johnson lover, although it was a lot of fun to watch a local guy on that streak.

Outside of Johnson's hot streak (hard to discount of course), I don't believe anyone can honestly say goaltending has been a strength this season. As a question - are you satisfied with Elliott's play this season? Do you believe he's been a strength?

I could be wrong but didn't Bennett miss a whole season with some sort of injury? Nah, that doesn't sound right. He just is a bust, we should give up on him.

Sigh. I think Johnson is a bit better, but his save % over the last few games isn't great either.

This I agree with. The execution is poor, but they are continue to pressure.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Canucks go right back to Miller again tomorrow.

Every goal but the deflection from the point shot were not hard saves. If we had starter quality goaltending this game is 1-1.

I blame Glen's tie for this loss.

Absolutely right. Look at his numbers over the course of the season, numbers don't lie. He isnt a number one goalie in the National Hockey League.

Johnny
How about the empty net that he missed early that would have given the Flames a 2-0 lead
