One of these is not like the others. Elliott is a veteran goalie brought in to stabilize the goaltending the position.
He's failed to stabilize it and has been pushed into a back up role by a career back up goalie.

Frustrating but the lack of finish and goaltending is what has sunk us. By my eye, doing most things right but just no luck. If the Flames play this way tomorrow I think they win.
Pessimism isn't good for my heart. Nucks have been mostly trash and Miller is sharp tonight. We'll get em tomorrow, but still, dropping 2 points to this edition of Vancouver is embarrassing. We used up all our luck in that weird Colorado game.

I can't really agree with that. We've taken plenty of poor quality shots, but there have also been a number of high quality ones where Miller has answered.

So is everyone else, and Bennett is a clear step behind. Mayne he just shouldn't be counted on so much and sheltered much more until he can learn to play at the NHL level

Not really. The best shots we had don't count since they hit the posts, the rest for the most part were easy from the outside with no traffic.
