It's clearly a 1A/1B situation. Ride the guy that's hot and when he fumbles like Elliott clearly has tonight in allowing 4 goals on 11 shots, start the other guy.

Sam Bennett is starting to look like the clear flop when it comes to that "top 4 draft class"

I find it odd how many people come to the defence of a replacement level goalie yet trash on almost every other player on the team, when the team itself has been handily outplaying the opposition all night.

A goalie is there to cover up the mistakes you make, not to let every mistake in.

The Flames are losing the goaltending battle tonight by a very large margin.

Well, I'd consider Elliott's run over at least.

I just feel Chad is more sound technically overall. Elliott's a little closer to the Tim Thomas end of the spectrum. Not really my taste unless you're as good at pulling out the superman moves as Kipper.
