Lucky save for Miller. If Backs gets that up it's in.

Take that, Loui. Deserved it after Johnny put it inches wide.

Matthew Tkachuk extends point streak to 8 games. It's longest streak by a #Flames rookie since Joe Nieuwendyk had a 16-gamer in 1987-88

Flames look like the much better team. Should eventually take control.

Flames super unlucky not to be up. Keep it up and we'll take it convincingly.

Flames had two things working against them that period. Bad luck, and they lost the goaltending battle.
If they keep working that way, this should be a W at the end of the night.

Flames a little sloppy to end that period, but despite the score they were still the better team. We're just not getting any puck luck tonight. Flames should have at least 4 goals by now.
Also, this game needs more Gaudreau.

Flames absolutely dominating possession. Only gave up goals because they were caught up ice the few times they actually gave up possession to the Nucks.
Just need to be defensively aware.
