Ott robs Setoguchi of a scoring chance.

Donskoi and Pavelski have the Sharks leading 2-0 over the Wild in the second period.

That was a "wild" third period, both teams scored 6 goals and all of them even strength 5 on 5. It was 2-1 after 2 periods and then the scoring frenzy began. Mikko Koivu scored the GTG and GWG in under two minutes with the same players getting the assists. Here's the scoring summary, http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/hockey/nhl-boxscores.aspx?page=/data/NHL/results/2016-2017/boxscore76939.html

Colton Sissons netted his first hat trick and the Predators pound the Lightning 6-1. Derek Ryan with 2 goals as the Hurricanes with the upset as they beat the Blues 4-2. The Red Wings turn it around against the Kings and win 4-0, Jared Coreau with the 34 save SHUTOUT. Anisimov with 2 goals as the Bhawks barely get by the Sabres, 4-3 in OT.

All good streaks come to an end. The BJs were incredible and the magic wasn't there tonight. The Capitals were ready and pounced on them, Holtby with the 29 save SHUTOUT. I'll be watching more BJ games from here on in, they are the real deal.

Yes, the Minnesota North Stars won 7-2 over the Flyers, heard it on sports radio. It's quite the co-incidence that the BJs also lost by 5 goals.

Proof any Maroon can score a hat-trick playing with McDavid.

I felt that the 'Hawks were awful for large parts of Periods 1 and 2...but, Buffalo went into a shell to try to hold on to a 1 goal lead...fatal error...they should have just kept playing the way they were earlier, and forechecking hard, to bottle up the 'Hawks in their own zone.
