that was a fantastic play by Hischier. He looks like a player

Parsons had no chance on that, Hischier got the best of McAvoy

Buffalo's first and second round picks look great for Sweden. Asplund with 4 assists today, Nylander leading the tournament in scoring. Tim Murray loves his Swedes.

felt like Siegenthaler never left the ice in the 2nd.

not a good period by the US team. Switzerland dominated the period ... going to be an interesting 3rd.

Yeah felt like Parsons and the Americans were expecting the whistle to bail them out there

Hischier is incredible. Are there any other examples of a kid from the less fancied nations having such an impact in their draft eligible year? I remember ehlers doing some nice things but nothing like the impact Hischier has every shift.

Kind of lame for TSN to have their pre-game show over take showing the USA game on their regular channel.

I'd much rather watch that than the talking heads and interviews with teenagers all saying the exact same thing.

Why not have the pre-game coverage on TSN3 or whatever? And swap them once the game starts?

Switzerland comes close, but USA hangs on to win 3-2.

Kind of embarrassing that Switzerland proved to be more of a challenge for the Americans than the Canadians.

Craig Button proclaims that if USA didn't start Parsons, they would have been going home today. The above gif shows the TSN turning point.
