I would also suggest looking into this. I had a Viking fridge several years ago that stopped making ice. Due to a kitchen flood, the fridge was unplugged for six weeks. Once it was plugged back in, ice was made without a problem.

No, it's the right filter.

Is this the first time you have ever changed the filter on the fridge? Does that fridge need a filter installed or can it work without one?

Is there some kind of electronic lock that gets set when you remove the water filter?

To clarify, is it not making ice, dispensing ice, or neither?

Not the first time. No lock. It's not making ice or dispensing water.

Is it the kind that just makes ice cubes in the freezer section, or does it dispense them from the fridge door?

If it dispenses ice from the door, was there any ice left over before you changed the filter out? Was it able to dispense that ice? Can you add ice to it manually to see if it works? Just wondering if it's a filter problem or an electrical problem.

Sometimes the water shut offs can be finicky, too. A little bit of a turn one way or the other and you don't get any water flow.
