I'm hoping it's going to be a big year for new things and a better quality of life, but I'm feeling too shy right now to talk about the reasons for all that.
On a smaller scale, I've started larping more, and I hope to have some great experiences and looking forward to meeting lots of new people. Roleplaying is such an awesome hobby.

Not that exciting but I hope I can stay busy with work and have a huge debt reduction year to get back to where I was before the downturn.

Moved into a house with a pool at the end of August last year. I am looking forward to a full summer using it. Also looking forward to do some projects around the house. I didn't get everything I wanted to get done before the weather turned.

I was pretty scared as well. Had a few sleepless nights for sure, but it goes away. It almost seems silly now how freaked out I was.
Having a kid opens up a whole world of paranoia to you, but is also very rewarding at the same time.

I am slightly worried about 2017 as I had a great 2014, a horrible 2015, and a great 2016. Hopefully the patten ends.
Anyways I'm looking forward to my baby daughter getting older and hearing her first words, getting a decent bonus at work, and a trip to Calgary in August.

HAHA my wife keeps saying this. I love my sleep & hate waking up early but it's mostly because I'm up really late working on stuff.

Yeah I am pretty paranoid now but mostly just really scared. My current freak out is that even though my brother has 3 kids I can't remember if I actually held his kids or not. Will I even know how to hold a baby? HAHA seems stupid but its those little things haha! While I'm completely freaked out I'm pretty excited to see the little guy!

Any favourite islands or spots? That's my biggest dilemma right now - too many choices and I can't afford to spend a month and go everywhere! I'll be taking a cruise with G Adventures, as I have a credit with them I need to use up.
Did you stay in Quito before/ after? It looks like I will need to arrive a day or more early (and I want to so that if the flight is delayed I'm not worried about missing the connection) but not sure how much time is enough / too much.
I should see if there's a Galapagos thread...

Agree with this. Had our first kid in August, and was just as scared as you were. Turns out my fears were overblown, and its been amazing.
My advice would be to start sleep training early. We started at 5 weeks and it was a life saver.
