Default Water not flowing to Samsung fridge

Water has stopped flowing to our fridge. The filter is changed so it's not that. I thought I'd check here before pulling the fridge out and checking the line. Anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone here?

It's always something silly like that. I was capping off some water lines in a bathroom I was doing a reno on. Went downstairs and turned the main water valve on just a bit to check for leaks. Totally forgot to go back down to fully open the valve. Later that night, the g/f is complaining about poor water pressure in the shower. Took about a week of trying to figure out what the hell the problem could be before smacking myself in the forehead.

Yes, it's not that. There must be a pump. Maybe it's that.

Does it try to pump or nothing happens at all? I had a little plastic piece break so nothing happened when you pushed the lever. Popped off the front cover and it was pretty easy to figure out with google and YouTube

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I'm not sure why it would need a pump when their is already lots of water pressure...but I'm not a fridge engineer.

Are you talking about the drinking water line? Our water line in our fridge will freeze every now and then stopping the flow. We just turn up the temperature a little bit and wait it out. It tends to freeze after we go shopping and full it full of food. Combination of leaving the door open while we fill it and overworking to cool down afterward I guess.

Check the filter, could be installed backwards.
That's the only thing that's changed recently, right?

Did the filter come in a plastic bag? Did you remove filter from the plastic bag before installing?

I'm all out of ideas, here.

Does it still make ice (if you have an ice maker)?

My fridge the electronics board that turns the water dispense on and off when you push the lever broke. Still makes ice, but can't dispense water.

Did a reset help?

We had a fridge that was finicky. You could easily re-install the fitting off slightly and it wouldnt work. Even after we knew of the issue and were careful, it still happened occasionally and eventually a plastic piece in the housing broke and needed to be replaced.

Did you try to put the old filter back in and see if the water flows?

If it doesnt work with the old filter now, did you over tighten it or put it in crooked which could have broken a plastic fpiece? Can you see if anything is off?

Lastly, did you try again after a while? It might have a reset period after the filter is reinstalled.

Samsungs are really bad for icing up. I just finished emptying and defrosting mine just to get the back off to get at the ice that was hitting the fan. It could have frozen the line. Lots of google info on Samsung fridges.
