I do not know why this game is not nationally televised since it is Wednesday night hockey. It is very strange considering that a canadian team is playing and it is a regional game with an american game getting national status. More complaints to Sportsnet.

Kassian is an absolute meathead. He's as dumb as a bag of nails and that's probably being generous.

Puljujärvi with 6 minutes of ice time. One hit, nine seconds of PK. Why isn't he in the AHL, you goddamn piece of #### organisation?

Agreed. When he was fully healthy from being injured earlier he should have been sent down.

It sure was entertaining to watch. The goalies played very well as the shots on goal were 38-38. There were no power play goals as penalty killing was perfect, in other words both teams were evenly matched. Giroux was quick to react with the wrist shot after the turnover to tie the game at 2-2 late in the second period.

The underlying numbers seem to confirm that. I'll believe it when the season is over and they aren't 10 points below the Flames.

I think the jury is really out on whether playing a player in the NHL too early or with too little minutes will ruin them.

Seguín turned out fine despite getting similar treatment in Boston his first season. Draisaitl is looking alright as well.

The biggest problem I see is that the Oilers already blew a season off of Puljujarvi's ELC for really no good reason. He's not helping more then Pitlick or Slepyshev have. Really no point for him to be there from a perspective of trying to win NHL hockey games.

My opinion is slanted since I believe a young player like that should be playing a ton of minutes, in all situations if possible.

I get the argument that playing with the big boys can educate younger players, they learn things from experience and learning for the vets. I can see that, I guess.

And I'm not just trying to bash the Oilers. Just think he's a good young player that needs to be playing a lot right now, somewhere.
