He's top 10 in save % for starting goalies. Great trade. Flames should have gotten him instead of the guy who was terrible until he played for Hitchcock.
He's over .930 since November 1st.

I told you guys last year Hamilton was a franchise D. I'm not anti-Flames. Brilliant trade. The Bruins are morons. They'd be cup contenders without the ridiculous Seguin/Hamilton trades.
If you're looking for help in net, DO NOT get a guy in a Ken Hitchcock system who was waiver wire material before joining the Blues. I said that in the summer. Bad move. Elliott will be out of the NHl within 2-3 years. Hitch made Chekmanek look like a star.

The hilarious thing about BigTuna is if you take away his ridiculous Leafs cheerleading he's actually been quite correct on non-Leaf proclamations, so far, lol. Elliot will struggle, Johnson will succeed, Hamilton will turn it around and become a number 1 etc.

The "1st" was 30th overall. His 5 million cap hit places him 18th in goalie salaries.

The 2017 2nd round pick you gave up will be close to 30th overall too at the rate the Leafs are going. I'm glad the Flames took a chance on Elliot when the aquisition cost is considered. Just saying...
