The team has been out of sync/sloppy since Brouwer's goal. No one's "fault". Regroup in the intermission, come out with a purpose to start the 2nd.
This is was an undisciplined, unfocused team in the first period.

Usually Gulutzan's able to adjust strategy to match the opposition during the 1st intermission. We'll see how we look in the 2nd.

Yikes, couple of obvious penalties. Lots of sloppy passing. Let's hope they clean things up in the 2nd.

Great start the period, but the Flames completely lost focus after the first Lightning goal. The penalty parade needs to stop and they just need to get back to their game. Hopefully we see more push-back in the 2nd.

Agreed. They just have to kill the rest of the penalty to get the momentum back.

I've always wondered why most players shoot the opposite of their dominate hand

I'm right-handed. Shoot right.

The hand at the top of the stick controls the movement. It makes sense.
