I think the Flames were demoralized by a sloppy Backlund penalty.

Pretty sloppy overall

Bad shift for Bennett there.

Bennett really needs to pick his spots. The Lightning were flat and the Flames were dominating until his fight. Since then it's been all Lightning.

Need Hathaway. I disagree with the coaches decision to scratch him.

He's been doing everything right on the ice.

Adversity is a good thing for the team. Things have gone their way a lot lately. Need to remember how to push back in games when the opposition makes them pay for being complacent.

18 minutes into a hockey game in which we're losing 2-1 in a game following a six game win streak and people are already hitting the panic button. It's not a bad thing for this team to face a little bit of adversity here and there.

Too many fancy neutral zone and high offensive zone plays, not pushing the puck deep.

I'm pretty sure it was Hamilton who took the double minor.

Flames players need to stand up for themselves and their teammates when they get slashed/hacked.

We've seen exactly why it's important to do so.

Flames just need to push back. They need to learn how to swing momentum for themselves.

The blame is clearly on Hamilton's penalty. Not Bennetts

I have to disagree, that fight had no affect on the momentum for either team. The double minor was the catalyst for the shift in momentum

Yeah I dunno why people are being all squirmy and pessimistic over an unfortunate stretch of a few minutes.

They have to earn every win and they're gonna have more breaks between games from here on out like they did coming into tonight. Have to learn to keep focused.
