Canada cuts Howden, Merkley and Wagner. Also Mete on defense.
27 players left in camp. Dube still has a long way to make the final cut, but this is good news for now.

per TSN Canada has cut
C/LW Howden
RW Merkley
D Mete
LW Wagner
Canada is down to 15 forwards including Dube.
Assuming they take 13 forwards Dube needs to survive 2 more forward cuts to make the team.

@koshtorontosun: Canada lines vs. Czechs tonight: Dube-Stephens-McLeod; Joseph-Barzal-Raddysh; Speers-Dubois-Gauthier; Steel-Jost-Senyshyn
@koshtorontosun: Not playing for Canada tonight: Hart, Juulsen, Strome, Roy, Cirelli. Take that to mean they've made it.

Dube making the team as an 18 year old would be fantastic. Think he'll end up being one of the final cuts but sets himself up nicely as a 19 year old next year.

Flames and Canucks should continue swapping first and second round picks. Hunter Smith or Mason McDonald for that injured bum Boeser.

Canada finally has easily legible black numbers on white jerseys.
Dube #9.

Pronman predicts Dube will make the team.
(((Corey Pronman))) @coreypronman
If I had guess CAN lines now (cuts later tonight):
Jost-Strome-Raddysh
Dubois-Barzal-Gauthier
Joseph-Roy-Stephens
Steel-Cirelli-Speers/Dube

That's huge if he makes it considering he was injured a lot of the year. Team Canada looks deadly
Also can't wait to see this Rasmus Dahlin kid

Dube line scores again 4-0 Canada. Don't think Dube picked up an assist.

Dube had a full breakaway, but the Czech goalie stopped it.
Had a nice burst of speed to get behind 3 Czech players

Man, sounds like a great game for him. Maybe he'll make it after all.

You would think so, but there are a few caveats. The Czech team is playing horribly, play is almost all in their end. It could be much worse if the likes of Strome et al. were in the game. Hard to tell if the Canadians are really that good or the Czechs that bad.
Also it is clear that Stephens is the real star of that line. Tampa looks like they got a great pick.
