1000 games for Chris Neil. All with the same team. That's bananas.

1,000 games 100 goals 2,000 PIMS.
The only player in history with that set of numbers.

Remarkable!
Bob Probert came close – 935 games, 163 goals, 3300 PIM. One more full season and he'd have made it.
Probert was a hell of a hockey player in every way. It would appear that Neil deserves more respect for his accomplishments than he usually gets.

I'm sure it's been noted before but I just found out that Patric Hornqvist was the very last player to be drafted in 2005, and Crosby was obviously the 1st player drafted in 2005, and here they are playing on the same line together.

I mentioned this in the flames game day thread, but does anyone know why this Ottawa versus San Jose game is more than a half an hour behind schedule?

I think Ottawa might be the worst 3v3 team.

After a scoreless first period Micheal Del Zotto scores, 1-0 Flyers early in the second period. The Avalanche were out shot again 12-5 in the first period.
The Penguins and Bruins scored a goal each in every period, Bryan Rust gets the winning goal in overtime as the Penguins win 4-3. It was a wide open game as there were 81 shots (44-37 in favour of Pittsburgh).

Duchene and Simmons exchanged goals 23 seconds apart and it was 2-2 after forty minutes. The Flyers have scored twice in the third period, Lyubimov and Schenn and it is 4-2 for Philadelphia midway through the third period.

Beauchemim might be the slowest defenseman in the league. The number of times I've seen him beat to the outside this season is staggering

You got it, the Flyers are on a 10 game winning streak. They held on to beat the Avs 4-3 in reg time. The big play of the game was when Simmonds gave his stick to defenseman Bellemare during the Avs pressure late in the game. The Avs have lost 5 straight on home ice.
