Yeah this is the way to go. Way more affordable if you build your own.

Well...you'd need an industrial strength blender and a serious constitution.
Either way, I'm betting it would be genuinely unpleasant.

Enjoyed the first three days of the calendar- an Italian pale ale, German IPA, and a Finnish dark lager. The IPA was nothing like the crazy hoppy American IPAs we are used to- not nearly as bitter, but very nice. More similar to one of our session pale ales I guess. Day 4 was a sour Gose beer from England - not really my thing, but enjoyed trying it. Would have expected the first English beer to be a bitter, but perhaps the second one will be. I'm a day behind, but day 5 is a Belgian abbey. Cant wait.
Also, just noticed there is only one German beer in the calendar. Kind of odd.

I also really liked days 1 through 3. The rose beer yesterday grew on me as it went along.
Today's for me is just ok. Not a huge fan but they can't all be hits.

Yeah, I've found nothing really has blown me away. The German IPA probably was the best. Dec 4 and Dec 5 have been a bit underwhelming.

ALL ABOARD!

How does any fit these in your fridge?
Do you leave them out, open the day's beer in the morning, refrigerate during the day and drink at night?
Or is fresh food in your fridge the optional item.

Yesterday's got better as it warmed up a bit. It didn't really taste like much right out of the fridge. Today's has a great name. Sweet Krampus.
And Day 4 was no good!

Have had days 5-7 now and have put day 8 in the fridge- which better be a killer beer with a pretentious bottle like that (Austrian aluminum one).
I can see why some people were meh on the Belgian abbey- was more like basic euro pilsner lager than a strong Belgian ale, but a decent enough beer. The krampus winter ale was ok, but granville islands winter ale is still my favorite winter warmer (havent tried many though). And I actually really liked the Spanish saison. Not typically a fan of any type of fruity beer, but this was more subtle and still tasted primarily like a beer. So many beers with esters taste so artificial.

I love Granville Island's winter, but actually found Tree Brewing's Vertical to be better.

Finally had one I just couldn't drink. Smoked beer is apparently not my thing.

Smoked beer can be hit or miss. My two favourite beers in the world are both smoked, but I have also dumped a few down the drain.

That was yesterday's for me. Like two fingers to the back of the throat bad. Don't like today's either, but its drinkable.
