The Oilers are at least relevant in that they're a division rival. Leafs bear no significance whatsoever.

By irrelevant I meant basically not a threat whatsoever to anybody. I should have clarified.

Tkachuck's new system and new team this year. I haven't been belly aching about his play, and he makes less than a mill a year. I certainly won't belly ache about his physical play. Brodie has been more physical in the past, don't know why he's changed. I expect him to being the same ol Brodie soon though. Keep playing good D. Hamilton and I'll be your biggest fan, if not I'll be a pebble in your shoe.

How long have you been around man? We have bitched and moaned about Iginla's traditional slow-starts every year for over a decade! It was practically a tradition!

Hard to use Tkachuck in an argument as it's easier for a forward in a new system, In both years here Hamilton had to learn a new system and also play with a different partner(s).

And when Brodie was Hamiltons age he was barely a full time NHL'er

Bottom line with hamilton is simply put to start the season for whatever reason (s) his play was atrocious. A game i drove 6 hours to attend against st louis back in kid to late october he was by far the worst player on the ice and it wasnt even close. He has been lights out lately as has the whole team, and thats what i expecr out of hamilton. I hope to see some consistency and at the end of the day were winning and thats all that matters.

Hamilton was no worse than any other defenceman at the beginning of the year. The top 3 were all brutal and pretty much only Engelland was consistent.

I really feel for you having to watch a guy have a bad game. Of course, that one game you watched makes your "bottom line" completely valid.

ETA: Monahan and Gaudreau were both -4 in that game. Brodie was -2. Hamilton was -1. A flawed stat but I'm thinking it might have been "close".

I watch every flames game on tv and with my work schedule its hard to drive out to alberta to watch every flames game live. Gio brodie and hamilton were all bad, but by far and it wasnt even close, hamilton was the worst. Perrons breakaway goal when hamilton threw it up the middle was peewee level hockey. You strike me as a guy who strictly wants come on here and reply to a few posters me included and get an aggressive reaction and reply. Grow up

Stats dont always tell the same story as what you see. I kept track of turnovers that game and he was ahead by a long shot.

You were watching hockey and dwelling on the negative?

Shocker.

Equally awesome that you're bringing this up now and dwelling on it. Sounds like it was a fun night for you. You seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of the sport what with just about dwelling exclusive on negatives. Must be a rewarding pass-time.

By a long shot = he had three giveaways, and three other guys had 2.

You're in a thread about Hamilton arguing with people celebrating his good play trying to dwell on his slow start.

You're a wet blanket. Constantly.

Why are you even here?

"He was quite visibly the worst at hockey out of the defencemen that specific night."

Spanked = one goal game (not counting the ENG).

It's not trolling to point out exactly what you're doing. And now you're going on and on about a single game you think he was bad in.

Please, tell us more.
