I'd totally be in to dumping Bouma for Jooris

I like Jooris, an underdog story. Hope he will find his way soon.

Jooris isn't better than Stajan this year, and he wasn't last year either.

Thanks AC (at 3m43s)

Jooris was getting some PT on overtime that year based on highlights. Hoping he's not finished yet.

Was at the game in Columbus when he scored his first NHL goal in his second game. My son still brings up the nice ovation the blue jackets fans gave him for that goal.

I like BT, but there are some misses too...

like exposing Byron (a guy i wasn't admitted not overly excited about previously) to waivers instead of one of our aging goalies last year... there were other younger goalies that were exposed and didn't get a sniff... no reason to think that a guy like Hillier or Ramo was going to get tabbed at their salary and ages...

so, it comes and goes... but I like BT and his hits outweigh his misses by quite a bit...

If Byron ends up being his biggest miss, were in great shape.

I think the wrist injuries torpedoed him in Calgary.

I love that Byron is known as Paulstar in Montreal.

I would agree. I was never a big fan of Jooris, though I admired his work ethic and the means by which he shoved his way into the NHL out of nowhere. Something about those flailing arms of his...he was a big time arm flailer. His calories expended to results achieved ratio always seemed very high.

I like Hathaway's game a bit more. As mentioned, he doesn't seem to switch off at any point, and brings a tougher and more physical edge to his game than Jooris did.

TIL Colborne has 1 assist since his first game hatty.

I think Jooris is one of those players that plays his best hockey when he is called up from the minors. The Rangers will probably get 5-10 games of good play from him when they call him up later this year.

Yeah, I'm a huge Jooris fan, but thats part of being a pro, you have to bring it. Every night. Not just when your ass is hanging over the raggedy edge.

I wonder if Stathletes worked the analytics numbers for Stathletes co-founder John Chayka to bring Jooris to Glendale.

Good for Jooris. Still think he can be a good fourth liner in this league.

What amazes me is that we haven't had a 10 page discussion on whether the Flames really wanted Jooris back this season.
