The Flames also have a league leading 9 road wins and a league leading 10-1-2 (best win%) in 1 goal games

Thank you for using the sensible 0.500 (although the points available per game is already two wins above mathematical 500, this 500 (equal number of weeks and losses) is really what matters, and similar (but not identical) to what the black snake line represents.

Another solid win! Beauty move by Hamilton and great awareness by Johnny to stay out there and get him the puck.

Unfortunately we have to see Tippett`s team 2 more times this month. And just checking the schedule... New Year`s eve game vs. the Coyotes. That can`t be right! What the hell

night wouldve been perfect with canucks loss, but then again it will probably screw them out of a top player in the draft so this is good.

Better yet they love playing in these close 2-1 games. A far cry from Hartley and his wide open style of game.

The Flames' next game, on Saturday against Winnipeg, is absolutely crucial. If Calgary wins, they go up five points on the Jets with the same number of games played. If Winnipeg wins, the teams come back to within one point of each other.

It'd be awesome to see this team string together six in a row.

Corey Hirsch (another of the homer broadcasters in Arizona) just said this: "Max Domi ended up bleeding at the end of his fight, but it's not because he got BEAT up, it's because he SHOWED up."

Haha, sure Corey, whatever you have to tell them.

Solid game.

Getting elite level goaltending is really the special sauce right now. Flames are playing much better but they are on a streak because of Johnson.

If this is how good he is...

Have to agree, I see a depth to the system I didn't under Hartley. Never thought I'd say that.
