Just amazing we get to hear the players swear but aren't allowed to hear the crowd noise.
SN is just an amazing company.

I thought outside that powerplay, the Flames were garbage. Domi is skating around the whole team it seems

Oilers lose in regulation and Flames get back in their game.
Now the playing field is primed for the Flames to tie for 1st in the division tonight and finally catch the Coil.

Not a good period for the Flames. Looked slow and just a bit off. Gotta get some jump to their game after this intermission

Flames definitely cranked up their energy level in the last 5 minutes of that period. PP has shown huge improvement lately, and has looked pretty dangerous since Johnny's return. That's what I like to see. PK continues to be solid as well.

Flames PP: 7/19 (37%)
Flames PK: 28/30 (93%), with 2 SHG in that time

I haven't been catching all the games lately and just caught the last few seconds of the PP goal, but is it just me or is the PP formation different now than it was earlier on in the season? Am I late to the party on this?

Such a joke that we've averaged 2 PPs a game over that span, especially with improved possession and play. That's usually when you're drawing more penalties, but no... Would like to know how many the opposition has averaged over that span.
Edit: lol d'oh....can do the math right there...
Another blatant infraction on Johnny goes uncalled. I guess the Ferland fight was too distracting.

Aren't they running a 3 - 1 - 1 powerplay now when they get Versteeg and Monahan on the ice?

Somebody (can't remember the poster) was talking about the Caps' PP set up a few days ago and at the end of the PP tonight it looked pretty much the same. Unless the guys just happened to be in that position when the goal was scored. I don't know, I didn't see the whole thing. And like I said I might be asleep at the wheel, they might have been doing this for a few games now.
