Justin Williams scores a pair of goals in the first period with Kuznetsov assisting on both of them, the first goal just 23 seconds into the game. The Capitals took a 3-0 lead in the second period before the Bruins came back to tie the game at 3-3. Backstrom scores the winning goal in overtime, Washington wins 4-3. Holtby is the main reason for the Capitals winning as the Bruins out shot the Capitals 23-7 from the second period onward.

Carolina scored a late 1st period goal and 2 quick breakaway goals in the 2nd to go up 3-1. ANA still looking crappy defensively like they were in CGY a few days ago. ANA has just scored though so now 3-2.

This is the first night this season that I have paid significant attention to Pac Div leaders on the OOT.

It feels good to scoreboard watch.

Hard work goal by Chris Kelly to win it for the Sens. Hard to believe the Sens now are 16-9-3. Gotta fall back down to earth, right?

I can't believe how empty the Honda Center is. All I see are empty seats in the lower bowl and it's O.T. Did all the fans leave?

Ok at least Ottawa scored late and beat SJ in regulation (4-2 with EN). And at least no ROW for ANA if they win this shoot-out. Best case scenario they only get a loser point.

River hockey ducks.

Gosh someone set fire to that building already. They must have brought in the descendants of middle age witches and JK Rowling to litter the ground beneath the rink with charmed duck carcasses when they built that place.
