Another great game from the Flames.

Johnson excellent as usual.
Defence was solid.
Offence was a little snakebitten, but they came through when it mattered.
Both Monahan and Gaudreau have found their games.
PP scored.

Lots to like about this team right now. Winning is fun!

flames have much better structure than last year, and team play has improved.

they have to stop sitting back so hard in the third. they got lucky the stars didn't score (though the stars definitely were lucky not to be down in the second). either way, turtling is not a very sustainable way to win games.

Great win!! I fkn love this team.

Does anyone know where I can buy a retro jersey off the net? Can't seem to find them on NHL store and wanna get a new one. Will need to be shipped to Australia so can't go into a local store etc. Thanks!

Flames win another game where they are able to shut it down defensively when they needed to and open it up offensively when the time came. Monahan.

They really exploited the porous dallas team defence but not at the expense of playing mostly sound defensive hockey. They played down to Dallas' level a little bit in the second and it almost cost them, but they really shut things down at the end and Johnson made the saves he had to to get the win. Monahan.

Fantastic road win. Monahan.

One might say that Johnson has been huge for us.

I know they're swimming upstream after a rough start to the year, but there's only one thing to do....

Going to be hilarious when (/if) the Flames suddenly leap the Oilers, pushing them down, while all their fans were just talking about how the Flames beating top 3 pacific teams was a good thing, like the Flames were somehow not a threat and completely out of it.

Didn't get to see a lot of this one (DW had a say in that!). What I saw - Flames looked solid, Johnson unflappable. Keep 'er rolling boys - and don't play down to the opposition in Phoenix!

This is reminding me so much of the 04 season when we got Kipper from San Jose. Chad J has been THAT good. Props to everyone tonight, Johnny is just too good and Mony has really found his game in the last few. Even though he's on a 5 game streak I feel like he was still not all there until the last two games. Today was his best, noticeable force out there pretty much whever be was out there. I was hatin on him earlier, please keep proving me wrong Mony.

Really hope Versteeg is ok.
