Dallas getting lit up. Helps us. They have no chance at being serious contenders with their goaltending. The d isn't strong enough there to carry such incompetent goaltending.

The Pens aren't messing around. It was 3-2 with about 4 minutes left in the third. Schultz and Crosby giftwrap a goal for Sheary, 4-2, then they score the empty netter, 5-2, they're still pouring it on, 6-2.

Dallas might be a hipster 30 OA pick this year

Yeah they don't look great this season. Can't get by on offence alone. If it weren't for their 20 OTLs they'd be below the Flames likely.

Eichel with two third period goals to tie the game, then win it. Just makes an absurd difference having him back in the lineup.

Is Lehner a bust ? Seems like he will never put it together.

The BJs are for real, they are leading the Avalanche 2-0 after twenty minutes. Saad has 2 points.

The Coyotes have a 2-1 lead over the Kings also after one period. Hanzal has both of the Coyotes' goals and Stone assisting on them, the first one came just 15 seconds into the game! Toffoli gets two tripping penalties in 30 seconds.

The Islanders surprise the Capitals 3-0 in the USA capital, all three goals come in the third period.

He looks a lot better than he did at the World Cup. I guess that tournament didn't indicate much of anything.

Maybe? He hasn't been bad this year. He is only day to day with an injury, talk was that he'd be back for the next game. Nilsson has been surprisingly good too. I honestly believe the Sabres can make a push with Eichel back in. He's that much of a difference maker.

I don't get the need to correct someone though. As a huge Oiler hater, can't you let the comment slide without replying?

And now it is 5-3 for the Oilers. Winnipeg is so notoriously unreliable.

Who gets axed first in Dallas, Nill or Ruff? I think it should be Nill... he ultimately put that defence together, and the awful goaltending tandem. Wouldn't shock me if he fires Ruff though.

I'm confident the Oilers will promptly start sucking again as soon as they move on to more quality opponents.

Those CIBC commercials with the kids recreating iconic goals are great, and that little elf doing the play-by-play on the dock makes me laugh every time, but they have got to expand the repertoire.

There are plenty of other goals to choose from. Mario/Wayne, Lafleur beating Gilbert, Steve Smith beating Grant Fuhr... I hope they get on this, because the ones they run relentlessly now are getting a little tired.
