Johnson looks solid. I dare say he's rock hard.

Those early goals where great, great game by Johnson, especially with the leafs out chancing the Flames 200-5.

To make you more of a believer in Johnson, he was like this last season too. Had a rough start but some of the best numbers in the league from November on.

Solid win for the Flames. Leafs threw everything they had at us in the 3rd, and despite being hemmed in a few times, I thought the Flames did a nice job with their D coverage and allowed Johnson to see the shots.

Too bad they bungled the 3 on 1. This team doesn't get many chances to run up the score on their opponents, and that would have been a sweet capper to a great game. Oh well. 2 points is all that matters at this point, and the boys did the job tonight. A well earned win for sure!

It was horrendous but yeah, I agree, he should shoot more, because his passing is atrociously bad.

In starting eight of the #Flames last 10 games, Chad Johnson is 6-2-0, three shutouts, a 1.50 GAA and a .951 SV%. Man, that's sizzling hot.

1 point of a playoff spot. Games in hand be damned. It's so early in the season, they really don't mean as much as they would if this were late February.

But yeah, "this season is over" "we should really try for Nolan Patrick" "we have no chance at playoffs" "what another waste of a year" "I'm not going to watch anymore".

Good call folks. Don't come back on when the ride gets good.
