Default Motion Blur on NHL 07

Does anybody else notice this on their LCD or Plasma HDTV? I just got my new 40" Samsung LNS4051D LCD TV the other day and it seems like the only thing I get motion blur on is NHL 07. None of my other 360 games or demos seem to have any motion blur and maybe it's just because I'm stuck with standard definition TV right now but I dont notice any while watching sports.

LCD's are known for motion blur, because they don't transfer the image as fast as plasma etc.
It may be your TV, and is only noticable on certain games/programs.

How is it for watching fast paced sports? Some people say LCDs are bad for that

I only have standard definition TV right now but it seems fine. The response time is suppose to be 8ms.

The term is Ghosting... and yeah LCD's seem to have it over other type of sets.

I have NHL07 on 360 with an LCD and have zero ghosting.

Some TV's have settings where you can chose a "sports" or "action" mode, and that might help a bit.

I have a 60" Sony WS LCD. I don't eally notice it.

I have found a glitch though. In my 49th game I believe, with Edmonton in my dyansty, my game freezes. I play San Jose and then when I'm done, it simulates tot he next game VS LA, but never stops simulating.

My next step will be to just sim the Sj game and hope it moves forward. I have tried playing it 3 tims and it has froze on all 3 occasions.

While reading up on it I found out that ghosting and motion blur are two different things but alot of people confuse motion blur with ghosting. What I'm getting isnt a trail while the players skate. The players just get blurry as they move.

It doesnt look like I have any of those settings. It does have a game mode but while on I still get it.

Maybe I'm just too picky. The first time I played it I didnt notice anything. But then I remembered about the issues that some LCDs have and was looking for any type of blur.

Is your TV new? I remember looking to hard for things like that when I first got mine. It seemed I had a lot of motion blur when I watched some Futurama DVD's I had borrowed, but it turned out they did the exact same thing on a CRT.

I have a Samsung LCD tv and have no problems. I was just playing around with mine and noticed there was a "Game Mode" on mine. Maybe check to make sure that is turned on?

I have a 55" Sony LCD HDTV and play NHL07 on a 360, have not had a single problem, the game looks and plays perfectly.

Watching TV I have noticed somehting funny twice. Once while the camera was focused on a person in front of a very fast flowing river. The river was getting blocky, not blurry but blocky. Same thing happened when Sportnet throw their grahics across the screen very quickly.

I've been told that this problem is not my TV, but my Bell receiver not processing the signal fast enough.
