This is a weird rabbit hole to get down... but Jason Jaffray was never drafted. And ummm he played for Swift Current in 2001-2002... and umm you've never struck me as a guy that's over... 17?

I have a hard time with a top 5. I'm such a fairweather fan when it comes to former players. The day they are traded or sign elsewhere I hate them. All my allegiance is to the Flames and the current players.
Current Flames:
Gaudreau, Monahan, Gio, Tkatchuk, Brodie
Former Flames:
Cammalleri, I was so happy when he was traded to the Flames.
Phaneuf, he was a god in his first two seasons
Ville, just for 04 and that crazy smile.
Baertschi, God I pray that someone else wears 47 so that I can get a new namebar put on my authentic retro. Only effing authentic I've ever bought. And it says ####ing Baertschi.
Roman Hamerlik, kickass name and he made Dion look like a superstar

I completely forgot about him.
He was a solid performer for the Flames.

This conversation keeps getting better and better.
I'm not old enough to remember his junior days... however, I'm a longtime Broncos fan. Becoming a fan after he left, I still looked back at the team's history when I first became a fan, and saw his pretty good offensive stats and such. From there, I've followed his career. Don't ask me why.
I could've sworn he was drafted. I was wrong about that, I guess. Let me revise that: I've followed his career ever since he's entered the league.
That, and I met him following a game once. Nice guy.

1. Roberts (My #10 retro jersey is one of my favorite possessions)
2. Iggy
3. Theo
4. Kipper
5. Regehr
I stared at my list for a while trying to decide between Regehr and Conroy. Went with Regehr because watching highlights of him destroying the oilers in the corners will never get old.

1.Kipper is and will always be my all time fave flame.
2.Johnny may very well be the only guy who can change that.
3.Iggy is Iggy.. THEE forward of my youth fandom days, just the best.
4.I cried when Theo left, wasn't young enough for it not to matter... Was pissed about Corbet lol.
5.Regehr's tunnel of death was unforgettable and made the pain of losing my #4 easier to take.

Back before I was a Flames fan and they got their team I was a fan of the Montreal Canadiens.
My top 5 is:
Billy Bell
Odie Cleghorn
Joe Hall
Newsy Lalonde
Didier Pitre
Was such a great team and loved watching them progress by checking out game by game stat sheets on hockeydb.com
Odie Cleghorn was my personal favourite of all time. Viewing his stats was a treat to watch.

God damn, you're not only older than the Flames in Calgary, but old enough to have a previous team? Really? No way.

Not sure I feel the love for McInnis either. Sure, he had that 19 goal season for the Flames, but I don't think he really left much of an impact here. I don't think he is even remembered much as a Flame really.
