I'm not sure Gulutzan has full autonomy over that.

Interesting analysis into the change in Monahan's game from the new coach. Been mentioned twice.

Frolik is looking kinda slow and off today. Wonder if he's nursing something.

Agreed. It could contribute significantly to why we've seen a decrease in production.

Commentators mentioned that GG has been asking Monahan/centers to really come in deep into the defensive zone to support the D, something different from previous years. Cleaner breakout was the point they were making.

This Flyers PBP team is great. They call a pretty even game, which is impressive. Much better than the homer Bruins guys from the other night.

Doesn't explain the poor choices in passes and shots but could explain the adjustment in his game and how he's thinking more, not just using his instincts.

well we are in the NHL and we have won games, so not sure what you mean by not a NHL calibre team.

Ashasx is all about drama. Last season there was a very real possibility we would draft 9th. Minutes later there was zero chance.

I've noticed the same thing, I think it's one of the reason's backlund looks so good, he's a better skater than Monahan and it's more noticeable how he's able to get the puck out of the zone more swiftly than monahan.
