Frolik gets laid out, then Tkachuk gets called with that? At least give the appearance of impartiality.

he's pretty much the reason we've had 5 on 5 goals against since he became unscratched

Yup. Not one to complain about reffing often, but a phantom holding call while our player gets legitimately crosschecked simultaneously. That's brutal.

Divorced men give tighter holds hugging their ex after signing the divorce papers than Tkachuk did on that one. Pretty weak call.

Un-freaking-believable. 4 HUGE crosschecks uncalled. And that last one on Frolik and then Tkachuk gets a phantom call instead? How blatant can the bias be?

If that holding "call" was made consistently throughout the game, we'd be playing 3 on 3 hockey for 60 minutes.

In good position still, I just hate that we're getting called for such questionable rubbish.

Even the Flyers PBP said it wasn't a hold and then said, "what are you gonna do"?
Why are we getting constantly shat on?

I'm thinking it's not l Wideman but the way the team supported him that makes the refs jaded.
Not that I want to start a discussion about it cause I don't.

I recall a game years ago where the Flyers went an entire game without getting a penalty. Next to impossible, and improbable, the way the Flyers play the game. Will it happen tonight? Call the game fairly refs.

Despite Wideman, I thought the Flames looked pretty good that period. The PK is getting plenty of practice thanks to the atrocious reffing. If the Flyers get called for anything for the rest of this game, I'll be legitimately shocked.

Wideman and a 2nd for Byron and Kotalik
Actually getting Byron back would be pretty awesome.

This is exactly what it is, it's a stink that will be with the organization long after Wideman is gone.
