Oilers lose. Nucks lose. Flames win. What a wonderful evening of hockey.

I only watched the game after the Flames game was done but man McDavid was great every time he stepped on the ice.
Thankfully the Oilers are a train wreck in every other area because I have zero doubt he will be the best player in the game for years to come.

I'm rather happy to ignore McBlowfish. I honestly do not care.

McDavid is ridiculous. As a fan base, we have to come to grips with that.

Yes, I went and watched it after seeing your earlier post. It was also pathetic how he immediately started complaining to the ref. I wish I could read lips.

I wish I could, but there's no ignoring the hype SN and TSN throw on him. Diving aside, the hype is well-deserved. The kid is a beast.

He's a phenomenal player for sure. However, the Oilers should never have got him, they drafted first overall four out of six years and were gift wrapped a generational talent on their last attempt. For that, I wish him and that franchise nothing but epic failure for generations to come. **** the Oilers and everything that smug fan base of delusional clowns stands for.

I one THOUSAND percent agree with that. Living in Edmonton, I put up with that #### on a daily basis. The fans here are so unbelievably smug and classless.

Oilers play by play guy repeated "McDavid" 5 times in 5 seconds right at the end of OT.
Yeesh, I bet he has wet dreams about the kid.

I'm not 'fluffing' him. All I'm saying is he's a very good hockey player. Anyone who doesn't recognize that is delusional. Jesus.

Sure, it is one thing to recognise this, but again, why do we need to continually reflect on McVoodoo's prescribed awesomeness? Again, some of us really just don't give a holy hell, and are happy to treat him like a cloud formation.

But if you're a fan of hockey, you won't be able to treat him like a cloud formation. He's here for probably the next 15 or 20 years. (And it KILLS me to say that).

I never said anything regarding this. My point is you've brought up how good he is multiple times in this thread alone. Yeah, he's a "beast", and yeah, you're complaining about all the hype while contributing to it.
