Proud of this team for pulling together in the face of adversity and grinding out some wins on the road in tough buildings.

Aside from Chad (what a gem) the most encouraging thing I come away from this game with is Brodie playing like his old self - making incredibly smart plays and skating like the wind. Possibly our best player coming around. That's exciting to see, cause he was far from himself early on.

Brodie's best game by a mile.

Johnson is the starter, so calm and focused. Funny how the PK is remarkably better with a steady goaltender.

Dougie was real good. He plays so much better when hitting and mucking it up.

Bennett with one of his best in awhile.

Marchand is still a tool.

Really solid road game. Brodie was fantastic. As was Johnson, obviously. Liked Hamilton's simple game. Bennett was great. Backlund-Frolik-Tkachuk were as dominant as ever.

One thing I have been noticing lately is that their close little passes on the breakout are getting much better. Earlier in the season, they were unsure about each others positioning and the passes were a mess. Now they are settling in and getting it, and the passes are much more effective.

There is hope for this team.
