Either '04 game 7 in the finals or '06 against the Ducks.

While 2004 game 7 sucked, and Bure's 94' OT winner ripped my heart out, I've never been more embarrassed than game 7 against the Ducks in 2006. That was such a gutless effort facing elimination and was truly my rock bottom as a Flames fan.

I might have shed a few tears also. My uncle from Edmonton was down watching the game (the Oil had missed the playoffs that year) and he made life unpleasant for me for a few days.
Esa Tikkanen's goal in '91 was pretty brutal too now that I think of it, but I was more upset in '94

2004 game seven save by Khabby against Leopold. Unreal.
Close second is the moment Brian Marchment came here. He's a piece of garbage and I'm upset he was ever a flame.

That WAS a brutal game. The fact that I remember so little about speaks to how boring it was or how drunk I got watching it and trying to forget what I was seeing. The end of Darryl Sutter as Flames coach, was it not?

Gilmour had scored to win the game in first overtime, only to have it called back by Morel because he said he lost sight of the puck.
LA won the game in second overtime.

Columbus drafting Dubois was my angriest moment for sure. Though this might be for the best, if Edmonton drafted Tkachuk I can't even imagine how much more smug their idiot fans would be.
I barely remember 04', I was young and I had to listen to one of the games (6 or 7, I don't remember) on the radio.

Morrel was brutal. Gregson, too, but he was somebody's brother-in-law (Crisp or Riseborough, can't remember which) so that explained his bias against the Flames.

Calgary's best teams were in the mid 1980s to early 1990s.
So, I'd say the losses to MTL in 1986, LA in 1990, EDM in 1988 and Tikkanen in 1991 were the worst.
2004 stings, but our 1989 team should have won more than once.

Easy
I'm in the Boston Pizza on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton during the '88 playoffs. It's Game 2 at the dome. Flames won the President's trophy and had home ice. Edmonton won the first game.
Me and my two Calgary friends have been giving it to the Oiler fans all night despite the closeness of the game. Especially the line of Simpson-Messier-Anderson (or Pretty Boy-Frankenstein-Dr Hook as we called them). Then Gretzky scores a shorthanded overtime goal over Vernon's shoulder. We left so fast we were gone before the Oiler fans turned around from cheering the goal. Vernon should of had it. Flames lose in 4 straight.
Tikkanen's game 7 OT goal in 1991 hurt a lot too but at least I wasn't in Edmonton for that one.
3rd place "it was in" in'04

Looking back, that was really the end of an era, as MacInnis and Vernon were gone after the season, Otto and Nieuwendyk followed the year after, and they brought in those fugly new uni's with the multicolored Flaming C on a pedestal. I'm just curious what everyone else's worst Flames moments are.
Always thought Bure was offside or it was at least a two-line pass

Before even clicking this thread I was coming to post the the same thing.
Can echo your exact quote, except I was 10. That was the 1st time the pain of losing was real to me as an emotionally invested fan.

Pretty much captures my feelings. 2004 the Flames were never expected to be there and gave everything they had. 2006 was almost the antithesis of that. And the '94 game was the first time I was actually at the 'dome for a playoff game instead of watching it on TV, that end was painful.
