I've been saying it for a week now that I don't think he makes it two years. This wasn't ever what Donald Trump wanted - to actually BE president. He'd love to be dictator, but now that he's won and Republicans control the entire government, he's one mongoose in a basket of cobras.
I predict at about 18 months we start hearing rumors of 'health issues' and by the end of year 2 he's resigning due to alleged 'medical issues'.
America has been had.

I never really paid attention cause I didn't really care, but my goodness does that picture show how tiny his hands are. One of Kawhi Leonard's hands are as big as both of Trump's combined.

^Love the quote in that article... "people who are being critical need to get a life". Yeah, this is going well.

I'm guessing here, but I would imagine Trump will spend more time in a week watching late night TV to see who mocks him then he will in intelligence briefings.

There are quite a few posters in this thread that are clearly mid way through the denial stage of the grieving process when it comes to accepting Trump as President. It's quite interesting to observe from a sociological standpoint.

Olbermann is going on about a little known part of the 25th Amendment that permits the VP and cabinet to declare the President unfit.

Is he sure he doesn't mean Starfleet Regulation 121, Section A?

C'mon Troutman.
Anyone with a passing knowledge of "24" is all over this.
"Daniels claims that Wayne is unfit to run the office and decides to invoke the Section 4 of the 25th Amendment of the Constitution."

This map comports with the state of the race, according to public polls. I mean, look. Clinton has a 6.2-point lead in Pennsylvania. She’s up 6.5 points in Wisconsin. She’s up 10 in Michigan. She leads in Colorado by 8 and Virginia by 10. Those are margins that put those states easily out of reach.
Put another way, polls do not show Trump close in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Colorado — they show Clinton leading by 6, 7 and 8 points, respectively. Using that map, Clinton has 323 electoral votes, and a victory. Move all of her light blue states into the “maybe” column and she is at 273. She has won.

Way to jinx it.

It shows that all the media conspired to plan out the entire election campaign and what would be reported when and how they ignored Clinton's involvement in satanic rituals and child sex slave trafficking rings. Or something.

Meh. Seems there's a lot of hindsight going on right now where we should ignore and revile all media outlets because they were wrong on Trump.
Well the unlikely outcome happened. The point of polling isn't to say x candidate is definitely being elected over y candidate, but show the probabilities. Sometimes when you take an option that has 70% likelihood rating you get burned.
If I'm inferring zamler's point right.

This is dangerous mockery though as the US media to some extent WAS in the pocket of Hillary Clinton. Yes, yes, she was largely vilified about things that were largely exaggerations or innuendo or perception, but politicians wield power to influence both negatively and positively and having ultra high access for 25-30 years obviously made Hillary some enemies in the media but it also would have won her some friends.
The Clintons have leveraged their entire political careers on this race and have called in every single marker they could to shift power in their favour. Tim Kaine rewarded with the VP appointment if he stepped down from the DNC chair so Wasserman Schultz could be placed in the position and influence for Hillary.
This also happens outside of the political arena. Jobs in banking, jobs in media, jobs in any industry get better with access to high-level politicians. There are corporate citizens who stood to gain significantly if Hillary was president, pay to play IS how the american political system works.
Anyway, no, there is nothing to the outlandish bull#### coming from nutjobs, and no there is nothing at all towards Trumps 'unfair' media tripe, however it IS true that the establishment was pullilng HARD for Hillary.
It didn't make them biased, it didn't make them unfair, but it made them blind. America's elites did not anticipate this happening and their media mouthpieces reflect that.

For sure, but there's a wide gap between that and the supposed collusion where the whole thing was planned out from the get go that's been put forward here and elsewhere.

Question for the liberals, and I guess everyone else. Have you donated any money or time to any organizations as a result of Trump's win?
I bought subscriptions to NYT and WaPo. I think a well-funded press who can afford to investigate this administration will be a good thing to have going forwards. It's not a lot, but then I'm not an American and I live overseas.
