Funny thing is they're still only 2 points out of a playoff spot, and only 4 points back of the division lead. They can still turn this around, but that won't happen if special teams continue to suck. Treliving needs to man the f--k up and admit that he made a mistake with this coaching staff. Get somebody in here ASAP who actually knows their way around special teams.

Good job in that last season where we traded Iggy and Bow and we were all sick and tired of watching this organizations attempt to field winners around our again and clearly substandard core, that we all said we'd happily embrace a complete rebuild and the terrible results that were sure to follow.

I will be very disappointed if we send Hathaway back instead of Chiasson or Bouma.
Hathaway has been fantastic in almost every NHL game he's played, largely in a 4th line role exclusively.

You should also look at the standings. Not one team in our division has 4 games in hand outside of Arizona who are a non factor. And only one team has three at this point.

There is just too much focus on puck possession. This team isn't making fast enough passes because they are thinking too long. By the time the pass is made the lane is closed and it gets turned over. We have to make faster decisions with the puck
