Special teams continue to lose us hockey games. I still maintain that even with a slightly below-average PP and PK, this team would easily be in a playoff spot, and would possibly be battling for 1st in the division.

Would anybody object to Monahan being a healthy scratch next game?
Sit him down, put the A on Backlund and see if it wakes him up. Nothing in his game shows he deserves to be playing right now. He's just floating around, never even a slight difference maker in any of his shifts.
Something needs to be done to wake him out of this slumber.

They tried to sit on a 1-0 lead, but they are not good enough to sit on a 1-0 lead.
Brian Elliott for whatever reason is not working out. Luckily he's on a very tradeable deal.

Thought we were clearly the better team when we werent shorthanded.
Problem was we were shorthanded half the game...
Extremely disappointed with Brouwer tonight. Feel he was the biggest catalyst

This team is beyond frustrating. Right when you think they're starting to figure it out, they lay a stinker like that.
The special teams are absolutely pathetic. Monahan, Bennett and Brouwer were pathetic. I can't even imagine how bad we would be if it weren't for the Backlund line.
