Hey All,

After my trip to McDonalds today I came home and ended up with 3 of the 4 railroads which means I'm a "Short Line" railroad away from $5 million. I know it's a long shot but if anyone has it but doesn't have the rest of the Railroads there's $2.5 million in it for ya...

The game is designed that way, to make it look like you're close to a huge score but the reality is that there's like millions of the 3 railroads and basically 1 of the missing one. Same with Park Place and Boardwalk. One of them is abundant to make it look like you are close and keep you buying more but the other one is almost impossible to actually come across.

I realize all this but I think I have a better chance asking around on the forum then I do going to McDonalds everyday and wasting money... Maybe I can get lucky and the one owner of Short Line will be a Flames Fan....

why wouldn't the short line owner just go to McDonalds and bunch of times and get the other 3 and NOT split the 5M with anyone?

hehe i won a bunch of bestbuy cash so far...will use it for CDs since you can only use a few bucks at a time.

i collect those monopoly pieces but play it online(you can only do one or the other). its way more fun..hehe.

I've seen posts similar to this before elsewhere trying to sucker someone. Maybe someone is stupid enough and you'll get lucky.

A buddy was saying something; Boardwalk has traditionally been the hard one of these to get. This year they should have switched it around, made Boardwalk the easy one and watch people freak out when they find it.

Hey, thanks for letting everybody know which one is the hard one to get. Now I know if I find Short Line all I have to do is walk in and buy 100 drinks and 100 fries and grab the rest of my railroads.

Did you know that from the late 1980s to 2001 the McDonald's Monopoly game WAS FIXED? Yep, the security chief at the company Simon Marketing who was responsible for placing the rare pieces stole and embezzled most of them and shared them with family and friends. For years it was nearly impossible to win the major cash prizes or vehicles since this ring of people took them all.

I know this has nothing to do with the McDonalds Monopoly contest, but if any one happens to have a 6/49 ticket with the winning numbers from Wednesday, please send me a note.

I know it is a long shot, but if anyone has got them, there is $1 million in it for ya.

What I do.

Order a large fries. It costs $2.19. It comes with a $2 off BEST BUY coupon. Then I go to Best Buy and buy a CD that I still would've boughten without the $2 off. Therefore I've paid 19 cents for large fries.

Also, never get a meal with regular fries / regular drink. Ask to upsize your fries for 40 cents, and then you'll get $2 off at best buy, because regular fries don't give you that coupon.

This all works if you purchase things from Best Buy quite often.

There's still upsizing? I thought Supersizing was cancelled.
