To be honest Kempny and Seabrook may just as well be the third pairing there. Our own lineups don't really correspond to how players are actually used in games either.

I absolutely hate that Shinkaruk gets the press box treatment all the time. Would prefer to see him back in Stockton to be honest.

Q is having Seabs and Hammer mentor the rooks for 2 periods, then, often shortens the bench in the 3rd

I agree. He hasn't shown anything when he is in the lineup. F. Hamilton has looked better than him. Hathaway has looked better than him. He needs to play in Stockton right now.

true, but he hasn't played in a week (only 8:43 against the Rangers) and he probably won't draw in again unless there's another injury. The Heat play today and tomorrow and are then off until Wednesday. For a 22 year old prospect, that's way too much sitting around for my liking.

It is what it is, as long as Bouma, Versteeg, and Gaudreau are out with injury we need some emergency LW depth. You never know when someone tweaks something in a pregame skate or gets hit with the flu bug. Better Shinkaruk than Klimchuk, Jankowski or Mangiapane each of whom has more to learn and prove at the AHL level.
