The videos they showed were: McDavid gets rubbed along the boards after a pass, Gaudreau slashed on the hands, Matthews rubbed along the boards.

The Canucks have tied it up, and are playing like they hope to save their coach from being fired.

I kind of hope Desjardins is fired because I think he is actually a pretty good coach, and much, MUCH better than the Canucks mid-season replacement.

Yeah, Willie would be a huge scapegoat. That's a bad team, regardless who is coaching.

I've definitely noticed Seto out there tonight. Good for him, glad to see.

Wow. Canucks get a penalty shot in OT and win the game 3-2.

So nice to see the Oilers playing like crap lately. I think deep down we all knew their strong start to the season was all smoke and mirrors. Take McDavid out of that lineup, and they'd be tied for dead last with the Coyotes.

Remember when the Oilers and Canucks were both off to awesome starts? Good times.

Yes, I know. But they started 4-0, they're now 6-10. Pretty bad.

At least Canucks fans knew they were super lucky and it was unsustainable, being destined to the bottom. Oilers fans on the other hand were drinking so much of the Lowe koolaid that they genuinly believed they were an elite contending team all of a sudden. The 2011-12 Oilers started the year 8-2-2 and finished 29th in the league.

The Canucks have 7 wins on the season. 5 of those wins have come in OT/SO games where they didn't play with the lead for a single second.

In their 11 losses, they only played with the lead briefly in one game.

By my math, in 18 games, they've played a total of 1096 minutes and 13 seconds. They've led for a total of 47:47 (more than half of that time was in one game). That's 4.36% of the season so far spent playing with a lead.

Blake Price has been mentioning that fact several times on the Canucks post game show, it is hilarious how frequently he has been repeating it.

Is that what a slashing call looks like. Flames fans obviously wouldn't know.

I honestly think Garrett is legally blind. When Richardson went down, despite numerous replays, he kept saying it was a stick to the head.

That would explain his career goaltending stats.
