Laugh at all the worrisome Flames fans who were convinced this was the year of the Oil a month ago.

There's something wrong with Draisatl as far as a player goes. His rookie season was a disaster, but he went back and dominated at the junior level. Then last year he was very good for the first half of the year, but a disaster in the second half, and he's looked pretty poor again.
Teams just seem to be content to push him to the outside and leave him there.

McDavid seems to be very predictable he's flashy and he's fast, but it just seems like he does the same thing everytime he's got the puck.
Teams are starting to clog up his path to the net now.
The best players are unpredictable with the puck and can do a lot of different things. McDavid will learn, he's going to be a great player. But is he going to ever be a player that is worth a 12 million dollar a year contract. The oilers will have to pay it and hope.

Devan Dubnyk is making yet another strong case to be ranked among the best goalies in the game.
The Minnesota Wild netminder made 25 saves Thursday in a 1-0 win over the Boston Bruins, not only outdueling counterpart Tuukka Rask - who stopped 28 of 29 shots in the loss - but also passing Carey Price for the best save percentage among goalies with at least 10 appearances.
In addition, Dubnyk recorded his league-leading fourth shutout of the season.

So, I was watching a Friday the 13th marathon on AMC a few weeks ago, and was struck when watching Part 5 by what a dead ringer McDavid is for Tommy Jarvis.

With tonight's loss the Oilers would have the same record as the lowly Flames if we ignore the first 2 tire-fire games of the season (which were more like pre-season games for the Flames).
The Oilers are no good!

Zero goals, zero assists and a -3 for Connor McOverrated tonight. 2 goals and 13 points in his last 16 games. Oilers are 3-7-1 in their last 11 including 5 losses in a row. I knew the real Oilers will emerge. I just thought it'd be around Christmas.

Last 10 games:
Oilers: 2-7-1
Flames: 4-6-0
The Oilers have the worst record in the league over the last 10 games as in fewest points.

5 game losing streak. 5 points in their last 10 games.
Things are slowly getting back to normal around here.

That was hilarious, I think McSaviour played the entire last 3:30 of that game, McIdiot (McLellan) begged, borrowed or stole every second he could to get McJesus some rest.
Apparently if Connor cant get it done the team is just a collection of bums.
This surprises nobody.
