Yeah I got the gas rough-in so it's time to make the switch. Sucks that gas ranges are literally double the cost however. Gotta pay for that flame doe.

Any other deals outside Lego? My best purchase this year was the thinp shiatsu massager, just $100 on Amazon. Does the neck and back like a dream. Already it's a great price Imo but would make an awesome gift if you can get it for less

Best part is, the strap in design allows you to manipulate the pressure. You know your body the best and what needs lighter pressure vs more. Only design update I'd like to see is have the controls more accessible, aka on the cord like a headphone mic. It's weird to have to turn it on and then strap in. For neck and shoulders I use my wrists for leverage, and then for the back it's either my biceps or just hands

Sorry I should have qualified it, yes gas is better than induction for people who like to cook and are good at it. I was thinking more vs. regular electric. I'm glad I went induction because I get some of the advantages of gas but it's even easier to keep clean vs. electric.
I don't cook enough or well enough to recognize how much better gas would be.

Induction is good Photon, just that gas has a artisian quality aka snob factor to it. Like people who buy refurb 50's appliances. If I was in a condo I would get induction.
Honestly some of the best cooking I have ever done is Sous Vide and on my Green Egg. My wife uses the stove way more as I never seem to like making pasta. I cook lots but rarely on my gas stove anyway.

Artisan snob factor? How about you can control the heat 10x better than electric?
Gas is better. It's not about snobbery, it's about control. That doesn't mean electric or induction are bad, just less control.
