Has anyone seen this 'new' show (new to CBC, done by Australia and the BBC already)?

Basically inventors and entrepreneurs do a pitch to investors to try and get some of the investors personal cash (anywhere from 50k to 350k-ish)

A great 'reality' show and even the wifie seems to like...

Wed at 8pm on CBC (on Thurs too on CBCHD)

i watched for the first time this week.. Really enjoyed it. like you my wife actually even liked it i didn't figure she would

I tried watching it a couple weeks ago, and it was painful. Perhaps I just tried watching a sucky invention (the guy with rubber exercise bands in a suitcase as a portable workout system).

Are you sure its not on Fridays - I am starting to PVR it this Friday. Does anyone know when the new ones actually air, there are so many of them listed in Digital cable its ridiculous.

The show doesnt actually seem that bad, I like that guy from RobTV and he is on it so I will give it a shot, I watch nothing on that network apart from the Flames and the occasional movie, and The Hour (its on newsworld I know but its the only show I watch on there apart from special documentaries etc).

Yeah, that was painful to watch...I thought that even his models looked really upset. The other inventors/entrepreneurs haven't been quite as big a wreck as that dude.

I think that only inventors/entrepreneurs with high television appeal make it onto the show and there are varying levels of feasibility to their ideas. It would be a pretty boring show if everyone had a stellar idea and got funding.

Doubt it , it's a CBC show.
