But that is the wrong link. You want the one that has the song on a 10 hr loop, and it must be played during the game with the broadcast sound off.

The last time Shinkaruk played, I thought he was one of the most dangerous Flames. He's not perfect in the defensive end, but that's not what his skillset is.

When you lose your most skilled player, how does Shinkaruk (arguably your second most skilled player) not get back in?

Nevermind that when he does put Shinkaruk in, he's got him on the fourth line and no powerplay.

Starting to wonder if Gulutzan was a big reason why Shinkaruk was shipped out of Vancouver.
I don't see how there is an argument to be made there at all.

Bennett is our second most skilled forward.

Then Tkachuk.

After that, there are a few that could be debated. I would list Monahan next. And Backlund.

Then you can start inserting Shinkaruk into the conversation after that.

I thought someone from the media confirmed Johnson is in for the back to back?

Its Johnson.

Gulutzan's mantra is to typically play a goalie the night after a win in a back to back.

Yes, the lack of playing fringe NHL players has you questioning the coach? Of all the things you could pick, what's turned the tied for you is not enough Hunter?

Not really, no. But I'm interesting in seeing if and how they improve from today.

A lot of those guys have quite a bit of potential.

Is this a serious comment? Tkachuk, Monahan, Bennett, Backlund, Frolik... Have you even watched a game?

Just my opinion, but I think all those guys you listed are all better players, but in terms of pure skill, I think Shinkaruk has better hands and offensive acumen than Bennett, Monahan, Tkachuck, Backlund.

All those players have other traits that make them superior as overall players. Bennett and Tkachuk have size and a lot more competitiveness than Shinkaruk. Monahan has size and maturity. Backlund is just an overall all around better player.

I'm just talking about pure skill to create and generate offense. I don't feel that the Flames are really making good use of Shinkaruk's skills when you play him with Vey and Hamilton.

He hasn't really had any time with Gaudreau and Monahan this year. He spent some time with Bennett and Broweur, but both of those guys have struggled with or without him so I don't think you can blame Shinkaruk for not producing when with those two.

The area where I think you can best utilize Shinkaruk is on the powerplay. Just seems a waste to not use Shinkaruk in that position. I mean, he was on the powerplay and on a scoring line in Stockton and produced, so why would you not use him in a similar role in Calgary?

Should the Flames call up Hathaway and put him on the powerplay or play him on the first line? Is that what his role was down in Stockton? It's almost like calling Kylington up and putting him on the wing. If a guy is a top 6 guy in the AHL, then you should play him like a top 6 guy in the NHL. If you wanted a fourth line grinder, than call up a fourth line grinder.
