We actually played defense?? It's a miracle!

I have to admit I kinda liked Hamilton with Gio, thought Hamilton played well.

I also liked the Ferland-Hathaway line, causing lots of havoc.

Hamilton looks good with Giordano. I think they compliment each other.

Also felt much better with Stajan centering Bennett. Sam isn't ready.

Johnson is now my favorite Flame. What a game by him!!

Hopefully the team can carry the momentum for tomorrow.

Flames AV guy should make a montage of all the slashes Johnny takes and send that to whoever the dillhole in charge of NHL officiating is.

Just watched this on with a lot of FF...team defense was pretty good

I called the shutout early in the second, haha

Gotta roll with Johnson now

Nah, they looked full marks for this win. Solid road game, played hard right to the end.

PK has been better.

Still need to improve the PP (Johnny's singlehanded effort wasn't a result of team execution). And overall just need more finish. One goal won't be enough next time.

Good win for the boys. Need to build on this and take this into tomorrow's game. Really hope Johnny is okay. Chiasson on the first PP continues to kill me though.

I really like Hathaway. Has speed and is tenacious on the forecheck and finishes every hit. Agitates too which is nice to see. Thought that line with Ferland was real solid.

Thought Hamilton had one of his better games. Him and Gio seemed to work pretty well. Johnson was outstanding. Have to wonder if they go with him for a bit? I would defintely think about it. Elliot hasn't been bad lately, but riding Johnson may be the way to go right now.

I like Hathaway with Ferly. They can feed off each other.

On the first there was actually plenty to shoot at. Not the second though.

The Flames had their own post though, and plenty of close in chances.

I actually enjoyed that game! A little boring in a way, but great to see the grit and the hustle. They kept moving, kept hitting and played a good "cloggy" game - perfect style to stymie the Wild.

Hated the chops on Johnny; the refs just seem to ignore them.

Chad played a great game - I like his manner. He's calm and collected, even when under great stress. Elliott always looks a bit .... more scared/nervous? He jumps around at times, something Johnson doesn't do. He's smoother and more relaxed in net. Would like to see him start a bunch of games in a row to see how he handles it.

Yeah.

Goalie in joke.

Any time I play and somebody tells me I am lucky because they hit a post or bar, I tell them it's all I gave them.

Hrudey needs to do a piece on HNIC about all the slashes that Johnny has been taking since the beginning of the season. People need to be made aware and know that its ridiculous. And the team needs to step up and do something. He's our star player, as bad as we are now we could be worse if he is injured for any length of time. Someone tweet Hrudey and get him on this!
