Gaudreau will have surgery to repair fractured finger (out ~6 weeks)
On going problem after teams figured out he is too elusive to hit and now he may be injured because of it.
When is the league going to do something?

Update: Gaudreau suffered a fractured finger in last night’s game against Minnesota & will have surgery later today to repair the injury.

Like I mentioned in the game thread, it's time for Burke and Treliving do something, get some clips together and send to the league. Hundreds of different examples shouldn't be hard to make an extensive highlight reel. Totally unacceptable.

Normally I would write this off as being a homer, but I totally agree with MMF. This constant, egregiously obvious slashing is totally unacceptable.

Teams, especially Bruce Boudreau teams (this is what the Ducks used to do when he was their coach) know that it's worth the risk, because our power play is awful.

It has to stop. The NHL is gonna lose out on a marquee player if they allow for him to get hacked up without repercussions. The fact that there's been so many non-calls is ridiculous.

I would take it a step further post such a video out the media every chance they get. The NHL should be embarrassed they can't even make a simple obvious call.

Agreed with Scorpion. This is past the point of us being homers. I get that it's probably the easiest way to defend against him but it's still ridiculous. Either have the refs crack down or tell Engelland to fight whoever did it, even if the other guy doesn't want to fight.
They have to send a message somehow.

Johnny needs to go 'Duncan Kieth' on somebody. Because he's a star he'll get less games than regular players and then he'll get hacked a lot less.

Easy way to take top players off their game especially since the refs won't call it.

Flames as a team need to have only one response for interview questions. "Did you see that slash on Johnny?". And keep repeating it until the league does something.
