This is the sort of game a ref hates to officiate. Lots of back and forth calls, both teams prodding for an edge, lots of borderline play that in another game would be begging for a call.

The more Calgary can make these games like this, the more refs will start calling the initial penalty.

Team needs more Hathaway and Freddie Hamilton, not bygone goons like Raitis Ivanans or McGrattan.

I also think Brouwer needs to get his nose dirtier.
