No, that's not how you develop young players. You don't bench them for making mistakes. That's not teaching, that's disciplining.

This is one of the slowest teams in the NHL against the second-fastest.

Bennett played stupidly last game. After the benchings. Not before.
Last time when he got benched, it was on a bad call by the officials. You have to back your players up in those situations.

you know, if the captain was playing better, he could kick the coaches out of the room and peel some paint... or, you know, play better and lead by example

Michael Grabner had 9G 9A last year in 80 games
Through 15, he now has 11 points. He just scored his 8th goal which puts him tied for 5th in the league.

Bob would've let him hear it, but would've let him play through it and learn on the ice like a young player should.

Dude, the culture that surrounds UFC involves sitting in a sports bar with friends, drinking beer, watching altheltes compete. Sort of like hockey, but the martial artists actually give a f. Also, tonight is 205 (very strong card).

First time in 11 years of being a season ticket holder where I've given up on the team in mid-November. Just garbage.

You bench them after repeated similar mistakes. He wasn't benched after the first dumb penalty, or the second, or the third.

Painful to think we let Jooris and Byron go and kept Bollig and went out and got Chiasson.
Speed isn't important. Grit chart, baby.
